So, while in our cozy little valley, we took a gondola up to a sleepy village called Murren, and proceeded to hike to Gimmelwald. Sadly, it was very misty and cloudy, with a few inches of snow on the ground, but it was still pretty fun!!!
This is our valley stuff, and our hotel. Pretty, and misty, but boy, we walked a LOT! Now, here are the photos of our hike Murren-Gimmelwald.
We found this Obama stand up hilarious. Of all places to find someone mocking the guy, we found it in a sample shower in a sleepy village roughly 1200 meters up on the edge of a cliff in a small valley in Switzerland. xD The Pension was a little bar nearby. ;) It was so quiet and peaceful on our hike, we only saw some people and summer hiker hotels and restaurants. So, given the situation, as many people might, we decided to have grand talks about everything and anything in the universe.
During which, I confused Fathia with the common American slangs, and trying to explain the inconsistencies of American English. All in good fun, of course!
This is our hike back to Lauterbrunnen from Stechelberg, the place we took the gondola to Murren.
And this is us visiting Trummelbachfalle. It's a waterfall that funnels down inside the mountain and corkscrews down and out. Really neat, but hard to get good photos because of the spray from the falls.
Ignore this photo of me---I look like my face got messed with in Photoshop. ><
Ooooeee! So many pictures. ;_; Okay, now, we are going to see our photos of our hike from Grutschalp to Winteregg, both sleepy little stations up on the cliffs. Also misty, snowy and blissfully quiet.
It looks like you're having a great time. I know you were looking forward to some snow - yipppeee!
